The Red Weather Reading Series is hosting Danielle Cadena Deulen, award-winning poet and essayist, for a reading on Wednesday, September 25, at 6pm in the Grucci Room (102 Burrowes).

Danielle is the author of a memoir, The Riots; two poetry collections, Our Emotions Get Carried Away Beyond Us and Lovely Asunder; and a poetry chapbook, American Libretto.

She also co-hosts a podcast with her husband, Max, a non-writer, called Lit from the Basement, in which they discuss poetry in their basement while their children are sleeping. In a recent episode, Show 45, Danielle and Max discuss Karyna McGlynn’s poem “Sensual Vocabulary,” along with the ars poetica form and Shara Lessley’s #septwomenpoets project.
