ELIZABETH BENEDICT
Best-selling Author and National Book Award Finalist

Elizabeth Benedict is the author of five novels and editor of several anthologies, including the upcBenedictoming anthology, Me, My Hair, and I: Twenty-Seven Women Untangle an Obsession, which will be published in late September. She has written for the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, Esquire, the Huffington Post, the Rumpus, and Tin House. Two of her essays have been selected as notable essays for Best American Essays collections. She was a guest editor for Salmagundi’s 50th anniversary edition, overseeing a group of essays on writers and money. She lives in New York City, has taught widely and works as a writing coach and editor.
